About the role
- Program Manager overseeing complex projects and initiatives within OhioHealth's Enterprise PMO. Ensuring stakeholder communication and effective project execution in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple, complex projects/initiatives simultaneously while proactively identifying and managing stakeholders, validating business success factors, managing expectations, and ensuring communication channels are effective for all stakeholders.
- Develops project artifacts with workstream leaders and subject matter experts that include, but are not limited to charter, project scope, schedule, resource management, risk management, performance management, and stakeholder management.
- Promotes and leads the change management plan for all initiatives.
- Tailors the initiative using the appropriate project/program methodology and drives execution to plan.
- Works with peers and associated groups to maintain, and continuously improve the project management operating system.
- Establishes a steering committee as defined by the project charter to ensure decisions are addressed timely.
- Demonstrates strong executive presence and the ability to work with and influence leaders.
- Supports Director, Enterprise PMO in creating a culture that embraces project management methodologies.
Requirements
- Master's Degree
- 7+ years of progressive experience managing complex portfolios, projects, programs, business plans, or pro forma programs
- Project management (PMP) certification required
- Experience managing acute (hospital) or ambulatory care operations is required.
