About the role
- Manufacturing Engineer developing build sequences for nuclear instrumentation systems in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. Collaborating with design teams and resolving production issues at a nuclear production facility.
Responsibilities
- Recommend and develop build sequences for variety of Safety and Non-Safety Nuclear I&C systems
- Work effectively with I&C hardware design teams to resolve design issues on the production floor
- Analyze nonconformances and provide instructions to technicians for rework & repair
- Participate in weekly production meetings with planning, project engineering and project management
- Collaborate with project team, shop technicians, QC, QA, supply chain, and planning when issues arise to drive solutions safely and with high quality.
- Work with Production Planning and shop Technicians in development of production order operations
- Work with Quality Control to prioritize inspections of procured and manufactured goods
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline
- An understanding of commercial nuclear industry or other regulated industry
- Strong computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
