Responsibilities
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you’ll play a critical role in supporting local farmers and producers through trusted agronomic advice and tailored product solutions - both in‑store and on‑farm
Build and maintain long‑term partnerships with a healthy portfolio of existing customers, while actively identifying opportunities to grow your client base
Develop a deep understanding of your clients’ businesses, goals, and seasonal challenges
Provide timely technical, agronomic and market advice to support productivity, profitability and sustainability
Coordinate and deliver field days, farm visits and grower meetings, positioning yourself as a trusted subject matter expert in the region
Stay current with the latest pasture and broadacre production practices and products
Actively manage your sales activity and call cycles to drive growth and customer value
Requirements
Proven experience in Pasture and Broadacre Agronomy
A solid understanding of agricultural inputs, seasonal cycles and the needs of rural producers
Demonstrated capability in sales activity management and understanding the sales process
Strong organisational, administrative and computing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science (or a related discipline)
Experience providing agronomic advice relating to agricultural chemicals and fertiliser
A current driver’s licence (essential)
