About the role

  • Account Manager position at Nutrien Ag Solutions focusing on servicing and growing the insurance portfolio. Involves client management, relationship building, and driving new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Servicing and growing the Nutrien insurance business with the support of our partners.
  • Work closely with business partners and stakeholders.
  • Providing a high level of client service to enable effective relationship management.
  • Dealing with clients and stakeholders at Nutrien sites and facilitate insurance meetings to grow the existing insurance portfolio.
  • Manage client insurance accounts including processing renewals, claims management, policy document management and general client enquiries.
  • Offering additional products and services to clients as you manage the renewal process.
  • Achieving budgeted revenue for retention, and growth on existing and new business.
  • Policy maintenance.
  • Driving growth thru new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • Strong insurance sales background with a proven track record.
  • Strong insurance broking background and formal tertiary qualification in business, finance or a related discipline would be advantageous.
  • FSR Tier 1 training via a reputable industry body (e.g. ANZIIF, NIBA) would be highly regarded.
  • Ability to constantly look for opportunities with a readiness to get out and meet with your clients.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills complemented by a driven, passionate and professional disposition.
  • Working autonomously with the business network to drive growth.
  • Previous experience in building rapport with your client base and generating new leads.
