About the role

  • Commercial & Strategy Lead responsible for driving strategic growth and performance in Numan's Obesity category. Collaborating across teams to define strategy and improve financial outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Owning and leading the P&L for your business unit, using commercial levers to drive revenue, margin, and retention.
  • Defining and evolving the strategy and value proposition for your segment, including pricing, packaging, and service design.
  • Translating strategy into clear priorities across Product, Marketing, Finance, and Operations.
  • Partnering closely with Product and Tech to ensure roadmaps align with commercial and strategic goals.
  • Working with Clinical, Operations, and Customer Care teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality patient experience.
  • Building and owning robust business cases covering market sizing, commercial models, and investment decisions.
  • Driving day-to-day performance management while shaping longer-term growth opportunities.
  • Acting as a senior stakeholder and decision-maker within cross-functional forums.
  • Coaching and developing more junior commercial team members, where relevant.

Requirements

  • Proven experience driving commercial performance and influencing business outcomes.
  • Experience combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ideally in consulting, scale-ups, or high-growth health or tech businesses.
  • A strong business-owner mindset, with confidence owning P&Ls and interpreting financials.
  • The ability to lead through influence and build alignment across diverse teams.
  • A patient- and customer-centred approach, with a focus on reducing friction and improving outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to make data-led decisions.
  • High ownership, initiative, and comfort operating in ambiguity.
