About the role

  • Inside Sales Representative for Nucor Steel Plate Group handling customer inquiries and sales coordination. Collaborating in team environment while prioritizing customer service and order accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • The Inside Sales Representative works in a team environment to professionally represent the Nucor Steel Plate Group with team members and customers on a daily basis.
  • Handle all calls and requests for information in a professional manner while working accurately and timely.
  • Coordinate with customers and team members across the Nucor Plate Group to sell and service customers;
  • Provide appropriate pricing and availability to customers on inquiries;
  • Provide timely status updates to customers;
  • Enter customer orders timely and accurately with attention to detail.
  • Some travel will be required for customer visits, dinners, and industry functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree of Business or equivalent years of related work experience in industrial sales or customer service.
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Tools
  • Willingness to travel
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
