Responsibilities
Gain a deep understanding of all aspects of our metal building systems and business model
Attend monthly workshops covering various topics with other DDSMs from around the country
Demonstrate initiative and dedication to learning by utilizing the vast number of materials to familiarize yourself with sales strategies, structural design, profitability and more
Spend time in each department to learn what our products are, how they are made, who makes them, and who they’re made for
Travel to builders, converse with, and learn from the DSMs covering sales territories
Commit to relocate into an assigned sales territory upon completion of the 12-month DDSM program
Requirements
High School Diploma
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office
Previous direct experience in a sales or customer service-related function
Commitment to pursue path as a District Sales Manager
Ability to travel regularly to attend workshops and territory shadowing
Valid Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance
Willingness to relocate to an assigned sales territory upon completion of the program
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Construction (preferred)
Experience in a construction environment, metal buildings preferred (preferred)
Public speaking classes and/or experience (preferred)
Ability to interpret drawings and specifications (preferred)
Knowledge of competitive sales strategies, building systems proposals, construction materials and methods (preferred)
