Responsibilities
Lead market access and value activities for Novo Nordisk’s Rare Disease portfolio in the North UK
Design and implement value-driven access strategies
Develop tools and services that address NHS needs
Secure formulary and pathway adoption to improve patient outcomes
Develop and deliver market access campaigns, tools and services
Lead Advanced Budget Notification and pathway development for new rare disease products
Manage local formulary positioning, guideline development and implementation of local contracts and population health solutions
Create and execute strategic partnerships and projects that support NHS service delivery and address health inequalities
Deliver strategic account management at system/ICS level and lead payer advocacy and advisory boards
Collaborate with marketing, medical, HEOR (Health Economics and Outcomes Research), pricing, Legal & Compliance, and field teams to develop compliant materials
Maintain and update customer databases and manage Promomats processes
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of access strategies and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree level or equivalent (preferably Social/Health Sciences, Business or related)
Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements
Deep understanding of NHS commissioning, reimbursement systems and ICB-level strategy translation
Experience of pre-launch planning and market entry for complex products (rare diseases preferred)
Excellent stakeholder management, presentation and facilitation skills
High commercial acumen, problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the UK and Europe as required
