About the role

• Solution Architect at November Five connecting strategy, design, engineering, and data for scalable solutions. Leading workshops and building trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and discovery workshops with business and IT stakeholders, mapping current systems, integrations, data flows, and risks
• Design and document solution, application, and integration architectures for web and mobile products, following cloud‑native best practices on AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
• Create clear C4‑style architecture diagrams and technical documentation that guide teams and build stakeholder confidence
• Define and guard non‑functional requirements and architectural standards (performance, scalability, security, observability, maintainability)
• Shape how we use cloud, data, MarTech, and AI‑powered capabilities to improve customer experience
• Use AI tools yourself (for analysis, documentation, coding support) to work faster and smarter
• Support proposals and client pitches with clear, no‑nonsense solution stories
• Build long‑term trusted relationships by being reliable, transparent, and solution‑oriented

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior Engineer owning end‑to‑end solutions for digital products.
• Experience in digital agencies, tech consultancies, or a product-driven environment, working with cross‑functional, client‑facing teams.
• Clear communicator: You explain complex topics in simple language and adapt to your audience.
• Structured thinker: You make trade‑offs explicit and document decisions so others can follow.
• Comfortable in workshops and client meetings, you can handle tension and keep discussions productive.
• Affinity with modern digital stacks (web, mobile, cloud, integrations, MarTech) and interest in AI in products.
• Curious and hands-on: you like trying new tools and patterns, but you stay pragmatic.
• Team player who gives and receives feedback with respect.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a strong plus.
