Principal Contract Administrator responsible for contract administration and management at Northrop Grumman's Marine Systems Business Unit. Leading proposals, negotiations, and customer communications in U.S. Government contracting.
Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the company response to customer Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
Ensure company proposals are fully responsive to prospective customer requirements
Coordinate and develop responses to fact-finding, evaluation notices, and requests for information (RFIs)
Develop and execute negotiation strategy/plan
Maintain excellent working relationships with customers
Oversee contract performance including schedules and deliverables
Advise program teams of contractual rights and obligations
Maintain and update contract documents and official program records
Provide direct contract support, review contractual documents
Research contract issues and prepare analysis with citations
Work cooperatively with the technical staff to address customer requests
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years relevant experience in U.S. Government contract administration and management or Masters Degree with 3 years relevant experience
Experience with FAR/DFARS
Experience working with various contract types such as Time & Material, Cost types, Firm Fixed Price, Other Transactions, etc.
Experience working with proposal development and negotiations
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required.
