Business Development Manager in India leading customer engagements for Nokia’s Fixed Network solutions. Identifying solutions and coordinating with teams for successful sales processes.
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify customer leads across Fixed Network domains (GPON, FWA, Copper Access, Wi‑Fi).
Understand customer needs and market/technology trends to shape opportunity pursuits.
Assess competitive offerings and articulate Nokia’s USPs, staying updated on next‑gen Fixed Network technologies.
Engage early with customers to shape pre‑RFP requirements.
Support Account Teams and customers in RFP preparation to ensure strong alignment to Nokia Fixed Network solutions.
Own solution design including technical documentation, BoQ creation, and best‑fit RFP responses.
Coordinate with cross‑functional units to deliver complete end‑to‑end solutions and conduct demos/POCs successfully.
Lead customer interactions during offer presentations, negotiations, project handover (KoM), and contribute to lessons learned; maintain strong relationships with chipset suppliers (Qualcomm, Mediatek, ON Semi, Infineon, Renesas, Maxim, etc.).
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree with 10–15 years of experience, including a minimum of 2–3 years in Pre-Sales or Product Development for ONT, FWA, and Wi-Fi routers.
knowledge of FTTx , Wifi Devices and Standards and 5G FWA solution.
Basic NMS/OSS knowledge including Java, Kafka,TR69, TR 369 etc
Understanding of OSS and BSS work. (GIS information flow ,Inventory, Order Management, Assurance, Activation, Performance, Fault, Device Management, Alarm Correlation)
Minimum 2-3 year Pre-Sales / Product development in ONT, FWA, Wifi Routers.
Preferably have working experience on GPON - ISAM 7360 FX Products, ONT, Corteca, Altiplano, Nokia FWA
