About the role

  • Commissions Administrator at NGL handling commission payments and adjustments. Involves collaborating with agents and internal teams while ensuring accuracy in compensation reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor commission payments and process adjustments
  • Respond to agent and internal questions/requests related to compensation
  • Assist with the producer debt collection process and other commission related processes
  • Build new commissions on the policy administration systems
  • Analyze product commission components
  • Enhance processes and improve quality
  • Ensure commissions are paid out and reported correctly while resolving any issues identified
  • Create and/or process manual commission entries and adjustments
  • Process producer assignment requests
  • Produce and review multiple daily queries
  • Research results and redirect discrepancies to the appropriate personnel for resolution
  • Assist in servicing production support requests
  • Document decisions and actions in appropriate file
  • Assist in the accounting for producer transactions and create adjusting entries as needed
  • Perform routine producer commission transaction audits and reconciliation
  • Research and resolve outstanding Producer checks
  • Assist in the review and processing of year-end adjustments
  • Respond to inquiries from producers regarding debt

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year prior insurance, accounting or related office experience desired
  • NGL policy administration experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Effective and efficient organizational skills and ability to manage competing demands and deadlines
  • Effective and thorough problem solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Intermediate written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate PC and Microsoft Office skills
  • Basic accounting knowledge and ability to apply accounting principles and practices to work tasks
  • Ability to use math to solve and analyze problems, then communicate the results to the customer
  • Basic to intermediate level of knowledge of NGL products and procedures is desired
  • Basic to intermediate policy administration systems skills or ability to develop
