About the role

  • Sales Officer driving business outcomes for Nestlé in Karnataka. Managing distribution, achieving sales targets and developing trade relationships to ensure product availability.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring product availability across all relevant channels
  • Planning and achieving monthly and yearly sales targets, including setting targets for each distributor
  • Monitoring distributor overhead expenses and profitability (ROI)
  • Managing distribution setup and leading secondary sales force deployment
  • Implementing trade and consumer activations, merchandising and visibility programs
  • Ensuring distributor compliance with company-defined roles, processes and responsibilities
  • Ensuring accurate execution of sales, discount and trading terms
  • Training and developing the secondary sales force
  • Conducting performance evaluations of secondary sales personnel

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 1–5 years of field sales experience in FMCG/FMCD
  • Strong understanding of channel sales and distribution management
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong trade and distributor relationships
  • Proven experience in achieving business targets and driving execution
  • Good command over communication, analytics and problem-solving
  • Ability to lead and motivate secondary sales teams in dynamic environments
