About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to control or minimize delinquency and charge-offs.
- Monitor collection activities to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including FDCPA and UDAAP.
- Analyze portfolio trends and prepare reports for senior management on collection performance and key risk indicators.
- Collaborate with credit, risk, collection service providers and legal teams to resolve complex accounts and mitigate losses.
- Utilize technology and data analytics to improve efficiency and effectiveness of collection processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 5 years of experience in collections management in an FDIC or OCC regulated bank; private student lending experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with advanced recovery strategies and legal processes
- Proven analytical expertise
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- At least intermediate working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
