About the role

  • Manage vendors life cycle activities including selection, contract, performance and enforcement at the business unit level.
  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships and contracts in support of business unit goals and strategies.
  • Develop, monitor and enforce service level agreements (SLA’s) as well as terms and conditions of contracted vendor support.
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration by actively working across business lines, ensuring enterprise alignment.
  • Employ vendor relationship management best practices to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Provide line of sight to enterprise Procurement and Vendor Management (PVM), collaborating on contracts as required.
  • Solve complex contract-related problems, consistent with established policies and procedures.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert and mentor to team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Extensive experience in vendor management processes, procedures, and industry best practices
  • Expert knowledge of contract terminology with a clear understanding of their inter-relationships
  • Significant experience in establishing and enforcing vendor contracts and service level agreements
  • Significant experience in developing, implementing, and managing a formalized process of selecting and monitoring vendor performance
  • Extensive skill in project management to include establishing and leading project teams
  • Significant experience managing multiple moderate to high complex contracts
  • Significant experience of contract development, monitoring and issue resolution
  • Expert organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy
  • Advanced skill resolving conflicting requests and meeting changing requirements
  • Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely
  • Advanced in the use of PC’s and related software packages
  • Expert organizational, planning and time management skills
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills
  • Desired Qualifications: Master’s Degree Business, Finance or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Working knowledge of respective business unit product portfolio
