Responsibilities
Manage vendors life cycle activities including selection, contract, performance and enforcement at the business unit level.
Develop and maintain vendor relationships and contracts in support of business unit goals and strategies.
Develop, monitor and enforce service level agreements (SLA’s) as well as terms and conditions of contracted vendor support.
Contribute to a culture of collaboration by actively working across business lines, ensuring enterprise alignment.
Employ vendor relationship management best practices to ensure contract compliance and risk mitigation.
Provide line of sight to enterprise Procurement and Vendor Management (PVM), collaborating on contracts as required.
Solve complex contract-related problems, consistent with established policies and procedures.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert and mentor to team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Extensive experience in vendor management processes, procedures, and industry best practices
Expert knowledge of contract terminology with a clear understanding of their inter-relationships
Significant experience in establishing and enforcing vendor contracts and service level agreements
Significant experience in developing, implementing, and managing a formalized process of selecting and monitoring vendor performance
Extensive skill in project management to include establishing and leading project teams
Significant experience managing multiple moderate to high complex contracts
Significant experience of contract development, monitoring and issue resolution
Expert organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy
Advanced skill resolving conflicting requests and meeting changing requirements
Advanced skill presenting findings, conclusions, alternatives and information clearly and concisely
Advanced in the use of PC’s and related software packages
Expert organizational, planning and time management skills
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
