About the role
- Quality Automation Specialist undertaking automated testing activities to support defect free deployment. Focused on quality solutions through automation strategies and continuous integration with multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the design of automation test strategies, aligned to business or programme goals
- Evolving more predictive and intelligent testing approaches, based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions
- Collaborating with stakeholders and feature teams to ensure automated testing is performed and monitored as an essential part of the planning and product delivery
- Designing and creating a low maintenance suite of stable, reusable automated tests, which are usable both within the product or domain and across domains and systems in an end-to-end capacity
- Applying testing and delivery standards by understanding the product development lifecycle along with mandatory, regulatory and compliance requirements
Requirements
- Eight to twelve years of automation testing experience with tools such as Playwright with TypeScript, Cypress with JavaScript, and Java Cucumber BDD
- Hands-on experience with Oracle, MongoDB, and Kafka
- Strong proficiency in performance testing tools such as Gatling
- Exposure to cloud environments, with a preference for AWS
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies
- Experience of working in an Agile team
