About the role

Responsibilities
- Leverage your expertise in commercial and small business lending, credit analysis and risk mitigation to lead strategic growth in agribusiness and agri-food markets
- Guide regional sales, underwriting and administration teams to deliver a cohesive sales strategy
- Elevate underwriting quality and strengthen customer relationships
- Lead and coach commercial and small business lenders, analysts and managers on credit processes, compliance and deal development

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field or discipline
- At least 10 years of related experience, including commercial and small business lending
- Experience leading and developing a sales team in a formal leadership role
- Extensive knowledge of commercial financing, credit risk analysis and portfolio management
- Proven expertise in relationship management and commercial financing strategies, including collaboration with internal and external partners
- Experience applying credit mitigation strategies and evaluating complex lending opportunities
- An MBA or professional accreditation (CA, CGA, CFA) preferred
- Experience with high-end commercial portfolios, including recovery and consolidation
- Experience in the agribusiness and agri-food industry
