About the role

  • Will serve as a Conservation Analyst, providing administrative, logistical and operational support for the implementation of activities under the Indigenous Networks Project.
  • Will work closely with The Nature Conservancy (TNC) team in organizing events.
  • Will support the drafting and processing of service contracts and monitor their progress with the responsible departments.
  • Maintain project management spreadsheets for the execution of the Indigenous Networks Project and support the collection and recording of information for performance reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Administration, or fields related to the objectives of the Indigenous Networks Project.
  • At least 2 years of experience implementing activities essential to the role.
  • Experience organizing events and contracting suppliers and service providers, in-person or remotely.
  • Experience engaging and working with Indigenous peoples or with audiences of diverse social and cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience traveling under complex logistical conditions, such as in the Amazon region.
  • Actively promote TNC’s Code of Conduct, both internally and externally.
  • Availability for frequent travel to support events, workshops and training sessions.
  • Proficiency with applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, videoconferencing platforms and web browsers.
