Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all site safety planning, JSAs, and pre-task planning
Conduct routine and unannounced site inspections to ensure compliance
Collaborate with field teams to coach safe practices, especially those working at heights
Deliver comprehensive training (OSHA 10/30, CPR, Fall Protection, Forklift, PPE, etc.)
Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
Ensure company compliance with OSHA, California safety laws, and internal safety protocols
Support project safety through job hazard analysis and proactive safety planning
Maintain accurate documentation using Salesforce or similar tracking tools
Requirements
Minimum 5 years in a Safety Coordinator or Manager role in commercial construction
Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and California state standards
Experience working with crews performing high-risk tasks (i.e. working at heights)
OSHA 500 Certification – Highly Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish and English – Highly Preferred (Written & Verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
