About the role

  • Property Manager II overseeing the operational and financial management of affordable housing communities. Requires strong financial, regulatory, and leadership skills in the United States housing sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct oversight and leadership of day-to-day operations for the assigned community(ies)
  • Manages all financial operations, including preparation and adherence to annual operating budgets
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable housing regulations
  • Oversees operational and financial management of up to 150 units within programs such as HUD, LIHTC, and others
  • Implements and oversees resident retention programs

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years’ experience in property management, preferably affordable/HUD housing, with experience managing direct reports preferred
  • Valid driver's license and able to meet National Church Residences' motor vehicle policy
  • Must have excellent communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills
  • Must have strong working knowledge of computer or tablet skills
