About the role

  • Manage and lead the sales team, guiding the team in the market to optimize performance and achieve established targets.
  • Develop and implement the national sales strategy for engines for OEMs and distributors, aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Set annual sales targets and objectives by region and by team, monitoring progress.
  • Analyze the market and competitors to adapt strategies when necessary and remain competitive.
  • Assess sales costs and the financial risks associated with product commercialization.
  • Analyze sales data and performance indicators to identify growth opportunities, anticipate issues and propose solutions.
  • Control and manage the resources available to the sales team, optimizing their use.
  • Maintain strategic contact with existing and potential customers to strengthen relationships and drive revenue.
  • Participate in industry events and trade shows to promote the company and its equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business, Commercial Management or related fields. An engineering degree will be considered a plus.
  • Postgraduate degree or MBA in Commercial Management or related areas is desirable.
  • Solid sales experience in the engines/agricultural, heavy-duty or industrial equipment segment.
  • Deep understanding of the market and competitors in the sector.
  • Knowledge of sales processes from prospecting through delivery.
  • Ability to analyze sales indicators, identify improvement opportunities and reduce costs.
  • Familiarity with CRM software to track and analyze sales data.
  • Understanding of the financial aspects of sales, such as cost and risk assessment.
