About the role

  • Post-Bar Law Clerk/Associate in Family Law at Modern Family Law preparing for attorney roles post-bar exam. Involves client consultations, case management, and legal mentorship in a hybrid setting.

Responsibilities

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail.
  • Participate in initial client consultations.
  • Work as a part of a team in a respectful and growth-oriented environment.
  • Learn how to manage your cases from start to finish and represent your clients as the first chair on cases upon licensure.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school completed by June 2026.
  • Register for the July 2026 Bar exam.
  • Attain a passing score on the MPRE prior to sitting for the Bar exam.
  • Submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.
  • Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.
  • Mock Trial experience is a plus.
  • Submission of cover letter, law school transcript and responses to candidate questionnaire.
