About the role

Responsibilities
- You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
- You ensure product availability and the accuracy of the figures within your area of responsibility

- You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
- You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated shelves and chests in the self-service area
- Through careful staff scheduling and your ability to motivate, develop and inspire employees, you prove that you are the ideal candidate for this role
Requirements
- Completed training as a qualified fresh-food sales specialist or as a butcher
- Ideally a master butcher (Meister) qualification or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
- Preferably some initial leadership experience in service counters
- Very good knowledge of a wide range of cold cuts/charcuterie, meat, cheese and fish products
- A sociable, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the commercial success of their area and to the satisfaction of customers and colleagues
