About the role

Responsibilities

  • You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
  • You ensure product availability and that the figures in your area of responsibility are correct
  • Together with your team, you merchandise goods attractively
  • You advise and serve customers — acting as a role model for your team
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure optimal performance of the refrigerated display units
  • Through your staff planning, you motivate and develop employees

Requirements

  • Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food area or as a butcher
  • Ideally a master craftsman qualification in butchery or further training as a meat or cheese sommelier
  • Preferably some initial leadership experience in service-counter operations
  • Very good knowledge of sausage, meat, cheese, and fish products
  • An outgoing, responsible team-player personality who is committed to the commercial success of their area as well as the satisfaction of customers and their team
