Responsibilities
Collaborate with the People (Human Resources) Team to deliver targeted HR projects aligned with operational needs across Peru.
Lead the implementation of a regional time and attendance system, including vacation and leave tracking, ensuring compliance with local labour regulations.
Develop and roll out a teleworking policy addendum, including clear guidelines and the setup of new allowance processes.
Update and streamline HR documentation and employee handbooks to reflect new policies and practices.
Support successful project execution through rollout planning, employee communication, and training initiatives.
Ensure all project initiatives are aligned with company values, culture, and legal requirements in Peru.
Review other areas of compliance in Peru and advise on best practice.
Support other time-bound HR initiatives as identified during the project period.
Requirements
7+ years progressive SENIOR HR experience while working in a technology and/or mining industry would be beneficial.
Previous experience with HR policies, compliance, project execution and communication.
Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, and safety.
Employment law knowledge in Peru.
Understanding of HR tech tools related to time tracking and leave management.
Ability to work independently with defined goals and timelines.
Excellent Spanish written and oral communication skills.
A great grasp of the English language (written and oral) is required.
Demonstrated ability to guide and lead.
Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the South American management team.
