About the role
- SAP Administrator managing and optimizing SAP systems at BEIT GmbH. Integrating cloud services and ensuring the smooth operation of the IT landscape.
Responsibilities
- You will manage and administer our SAP systems (e.g., ERP ECC & S/4 HANA, BTP, SAC, BW, BO/BI, HANA DB, MaxDB) and ensure their smooth operation.
- Optimizing and further developing the SAP landscape is one of your core responsibilities.
- You will connect SAP cloud services and integrate them holistically into the existing on-premise infrastructure.
- You will plan and perform system updates, patches and backups.
- You will take on the planning, design and implementation of SAP Basis projects, such as S/4 transformations, in collaboration with our in-house SAP consultants and the business units.
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training, degree in (business) computer science or a comparable qualification
- Initial experience in SAP administration and knowledge of SAP Basis
- Knowledge of databases, ideally MaxDB or HANA DB
- Experience in a Linux environment is a plus
- Good German and English language skills
