About the role

  • Sales Manager responsible for selling custom-built automated packaging systems to industrial manufacturing environments. Managing sales activity across a defined region with high-value accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and executing a regional sales plan
  • Managing and developing existing customer accounts
  • Identifying and progressing new project opportunities
  • Leading consultative sales processes from initial contact through to order
  • Conducting site visits to understand customer requirements
  • Preparing and presenting commercial proposals
  • Negotiating commercial terms with customer stakeholders
  • Working with internal teams to support project delivery
  • Maintaining accurate sales forecasts and pipeline activity

Requirements

  • Experience in technical or automation sales
  • Experience selling into industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Understanding of project-based or engineered sales processes
  • Ability to manage customer relationships and commercial discussions
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Ability to manage your own time and sales activity
