Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Privacy & Regulatory Affairs, you’ll be a key player in Megaport’s global privacy and compliance efforts - helping to design, implement, and maintain frameworks that keep us ahead of evolving privacy and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate across diverse teams to turn complex privacy and compliance challenges into clear, actionable outcomes that keep Megaport doing business the right way, everywhere we operate.
Requirements
3+ years’ experience in privacy and compliance - ideally within the tech, telecommunications, or cloud sectors
In-depth knowledge of global privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PDPA, etc.).
Proven experience supporting privacy or compliance programs in a multinational organisation.
Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other audit/compliance certifications
Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise at multiple levels.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global teams.
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
IAPP certification (e.g. CIPP/E) or equivalent privacy/compliance training preferred.
