About the role
- Key player in Megaport's global privacy compliance efforts reporting to the Head of Privacy. Designing and maintaining frameworks to meet evolving regulatory requirements across diverse teams.
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Privacy & Regulatory Affairs, you’ll be a key player in Megaport’s global privacy and compliance efforts - helping to design, implement, and maintain frameworks that keep us ahead of evolving privacy and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate across diverse teams to turn complex privacy and compliance challenges into clear, actionable outcomes that keep Megaport doing business the right way, everywhere we operate.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in privacy and compliance - ideally within the tech, telecommunications, or cloud sectors
- In-depth knowledge of global privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA, LGPD, PDPA, etc.).
- Proven experience supporting privacy or compliance programs in a multinational organisation.
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other audit/compliance certifications
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and advise at multiple levels.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across global teams.
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- IAPP certification (e.g. CIPP/E) or equivalent privacy/compliance training preferred.
