Responsibilities
In this role, you will actively contribute to maintaining Potsdam’s high quality of life.
Data Protection & Compliance Management: You maintain, document and continuously develop the group-wide data protection and compliance management system.
Documentation: You are responsible for providing, maintaining and updating central policies, guidance materials, records of processing activities, risk inventories, and for the structured storage of relevant data protection and compliance documents.
Training: By organizing and delivering training and awareness campaigns, you strengthen data protection and compliance awareness in day-to-day work.
Operational Support: In close coordination with procedure owners, data protection coordinators and compliance managers, you support operational implementation and internal communication.
Audits, Analyses & Reports: Support the preparation of audits and internal controls, conduct regular coordination with the data protection officer, and prepare reports for the management of the group companies.
Requirements
Ideally you hold a law degree (fully qualified lawyer) or a degree in business law, or an equivalent qualification, supplemented by solid further training in data protection and/or compliance.
Several years of professional experience in the compliance and/or data protection field form your technical foundation, preferably including work in a legal department or a comparable interface role.
You are characterized by structured working methods, a good sense for risks, and the ability to explain complex legal requirements clearly and practically, as well as strong communication skills and a confident approach to working with diverse stakeholders.
