About the role
- Compliance Analyst responsible for monitoring compliance with laws and regulations at MDS Brasil. Involves supporting training development and conducting due diligence processes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments by tracking changes and updates to relevant laws and regulations to ensure that business areas receive timely updates and can adjust their processes in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support Due Diligence/Background Check processes by conducting searches in due diligence tools and/or systems to identify potential risks in business relationships.
- Assist in the preparation and improvement of compliance training materials through research, consolidation and formatting of content to present training materials in a clear and accessible manner.
- Follow up on developed action plans by analyzing milestones, deadlines and results to ensure action plans are being completed within the appropriate timeframe.
- Review and update policies and other Internal Standards through critical analysis, detailed research and collaboration to ensure policies and internal standards align with regulatory practices.
- Prepare reports and/or presentations with operational indicators by organizing data, information and quantitative and qualitative analyses to support leadership decision-making.
- Perform other related professional activities inherent to the position as required by the area, through training, professional development and guidance from the immediate supervisor, to ensure continuous professional growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Administration, Law or related fields
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) and compliance-related legislation and regulation
- Professional experience in the compliance area with due diligence processes, compliance development and training
- Customer focus, professionalism, collaboration, innovation, analytical capacity, assertive communication and organizational skills
