About the role

  • Vice President Finance leading global and regional finance operations for Automotive Aftermarket. Managing financial performance and strategic initiatives within MANN+HUMMEL's Business Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for global controlling as well as regional business unit controlling
  • Finance business partner to the Global Head of Business Unit Automotive Aftermarket
  • Controlling with a focus on revenue, profitability, overhead and working capital
  • Development and support of strategic initiatives for the Business Unit Automotive Aftermarket, including preparation of business cases
  • Central contact for the BU for planning, budgeting and forecasting
  • Tracking the implementation of strategic measures and initiatives
  • Establishment and further development of a user-friendly, customer- and process-oriented reporting system with reliable and sustainable planning and forecasting capabilities, as well as process optimization through the use of modern IT tools and digital technologies
  • Continuous efficiency improvements within the BU AA through process standardization and ensuring consistent implementation
  • Participation in defining pricing models with customers (in particular the Independent Aftermarket)
  • Ensuring a comprehensive understanding of working capital with a focus on accounts receivable and inventory, including tracking existing KPIs across all organizational levels with clear governance and accountability
  • Development and implementation of comprehensive strategies for effective risk mitigation (financial and operational)
  • Leading and developing diverse international teams through targeted guidance, coaching and support to foster employee engagement and career development

Requirements

  • University degree in finance, controlling, economics or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in finance with proven leadership experience, ideally in the automotive aftermarket
  • Experienced leader with a proven track record in leading high-performing teams, managing complex global projects and driving innovation
  • Strong commercial/entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrable success in steering financial performance within complex organizational structures
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English
  • Exceptional communication skills and proven experience in effective stakeholder management at all levels
  • Intercultural competence and experience in international working environments
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive with a strong results orientation
  • Ability to interact and operate at the highest levels (including collaboration at C-level)
