About the role

  • European SIOP Manager responsible for executing and optimizing the SIOP process within Transportation BU. Ensuring demand forecasting and inventory planning in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and continuous further development of the regional SIOP process within the Transportation Europe BU
  • Facilitation and preparation/follow‑up of regional SIOP meetings
  • Steering of cross‑functional planning activities in close collaboration with Supply Chain, Finance, Purchasing, Operations, and Commercial
  • Ensuring optimal inventory levels in line with service level requirements, working capital targets, and inventory strategies
  • Monitoring and managing production load to maximize capacity utilization and prevent bottlenecks
  • Tactical allocation of production volumes across sites to improve lead times, cost structures, and margins
  • Leading initiatives to enhance SIOP processes, tools, and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Development and delivery of regional training sessions to strengthen SIOP capabilities
  • Monitoring and reporting of key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and capacity utilization

Requirements

  • Successfully completed university degree in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Materials Management
  • Several years of experience in building, managing, and optimizing SIOP processes, ideally within the automotive industry
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP modules, with a focus on IBP for S&OP
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting, and multi‑source replenishment processes
  • Very good skills in the Microsoft Office suite as well as relevant ERP systems
  • Excellent process knowledge in the areas of demand planning and forecasting
  • Knowledge of M+H products and manufacturing processes is an advantage
  • Fluent in German and English
