About the role

  • Advogado II handling various legal issues at M. Dias Branco, a leading food industry in Brazil. Focusing on constitutional, administrative, and civil law with responsibilities across multiple legal domains.

Responsibilities

  • Provide legal guidance to the company's various departments;
  • Monitor court proceedings of lower impact to the company, ensuring compliance with public authority requirements;
  • Make revisions to contract and deed drafts, ensuring improvements and compliance with current legislation;
  • Oversee extrajudicial collections related to sales contracts with fiduciary alienation clauses;
  • Continuously analyze laws and regulations applicable to the company's legal responsibilities;
  • Review various contracts of moderate impact to the company and propose necessary amendments;
  • Issue legal opinions and respond to inquiries on topics or situations of moderate complexity related to the requesting areas;
  • Comply with sustainability, quality management, food safety, environmental, and occupational health and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Law degree completed.
  • Registered with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
  • Postgraduate degree in related areas is desirable.
  • Minimum of 6 months' experience in the area or related fields.
  • Knowledge of constitutional, administrative, criminal, corporate, commercial, procedural, labor, and general civil law (including contract, consumer, environmental, real estate, and intellectual property law).
