About the role

  • Financial Planning & Analysis Manager at Lyka, focusing on budgeting and financial performance for a pet wellness company. Leading analysis and financial processes in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver core cyclical FP&A processes, including annual budgeting, re-forecasting and ongoing forecast updates.
  • Own Lyka’s financial performance and analysis cadence, reviewing actuals vs budget and identifying key drivers, risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver regular financial reporting across ELT, Board and investor audiences, translating insights into clear actions and decisions for budget owners and senior leaders.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to support planning and decision-making through commercial and ad-hoc analysis across key business drivers.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and lead projects that uplift FP&A processes and the broader Finance experience.
  • Lead and support two FP&A team members, building capability and a strong commercial mindset

Requirements

  • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, corporate finance or commercial finance, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in inventory-based, manufacturing, FMCG or supply-chain-led businesses, with a strong understanding of margin, cost and volume drivers.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data, understand underlying drivers and translate insights into clear actions and decisions.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with financial systems and new tools, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting platforms.
  • Comfortable juggling priorities, getting hands-on and driving process improvement in a scaling business.
  • People leadership experience, with a track record of coaching and developing team members.
