About the role

  • Finance Associate at an insurance company in Malta managing accounting and financial analysis. Overseeing reconciliations, ledgers, and documentation in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out monthly bank reconciliations
  • Organize and manage all bank-related documentation
  • Update and oversee assigned general ledger accounts
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Review and report on variances in general ledger accounts

Requirements

  • Formal education in Accounts
  • Previous working experience in a similar role, in Malta
  • Fluency in English at a C2/native level both written and spoken
  • Proficient in IT with knowledge of Microsoft 365 - Word and Excel
  • Keen eye for detail
  • Organised with excellent time management skills
