Conduct full KYC and document reviews for POS merchant onboarding, ensuring identity verification and compliance with AML/CFT and card scheme rules.
Coordinate with Sales, Risk, Compliance and Support teams to guarantee secure, compliant and timely POS activation.
Responsibilities
Ensure a smooth, secure onboarding journey that complies with payment industry standards;
Perform comprehensive identity and document reviews to approve accounts and onboard POS customers;
Verify identity, merchant classification and business information in accordance with risk policies, AML/CFT requirements and card scheme rules;
Use internal systems and tools such as Octadesk and Excel to confirm data and mitigate risks;
Monitor the POS activation workflow, ensuring credentialing, shipping and device activation proceed without outstanding issues;
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Risk, Compliance, Support) to quickly resolve inconsistencies or operational requests;
Monitor the quality of registrations and propose continuous improvements to KYC processes;
Safeguard the customer experience by balancing operational efficiency with rigorous risk controls.

Organizational skills to manage a high volume of requests while maintaining quality and speed;
Ability to work with multiple systems and data lookup tools;

Previous experience in the payments industry, acquiring or fintechs;
Familiarity with card scheme rules, compliance and fraud prevention;
