Billing / Revenue Manager overseeing billing and revenue processes in German offices of Latham & Watkins. Collaborating with partners and finance teams to enhance billing efficiency and structures.
Responsibilities
Provide subject-matter advice and support to partners, lawyers, office management and finance leadership on all billing- and revenue-related matters.
Overall responsibility for the billing and receivables management process (Billing & Collection) for the German offices.
Close collaboration with the global Billing and Revenue Management team to develop processes and standards, and to implement and support new software and finance system upgrades.
Train and provide specialist support to lawyers, paralegals and business services staff regarding billing, collections and matter billing processes.
Prepare for, support and follow up on finance and revenue reviews, and coordinate with international finance management.
Continuously analyze and optimize revenue-related processes with the aim of sustainably improving efficiency, transparency and cash flow.
Lead and develop the local Billing and Revenue Management team, promoting a performance-oriented, collaborative team culture.
Requirements
Several years of relevant professional experience in billing, revenue or accounting, ideally in an international law firm or a professional services organization.
Strong understanding of complex billing and revenue structures and confident use of related systems and processes.
Proven leadership skills with high interpersonal competence and the ability to structure teams clearly, foster their development and motivate them to deliver high performance and service quality.
Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
Degree in business administration, finance, accounting or a comparable qualification.
