  • Accounting Coordinator in Global Finance Team at Latham & Watkins. Handling accounting tasks, financial reporting, and compliance in hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

  • Determination of non-cash benefits for monthly payroll taxation and execution of regular account reconciliations
  • Support for the monthly VAT return and the quarterly VAT recapitulative statement
  • Participation in the preparation and monitoring of budgets
  • Collaboration with external auditors
  • Cooperation with other departments to provide financial information
  • Ensuring that all accounting processes comply with applicable legal requirements and internal company policies

Requirements

  • Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Comprehensive accounting knowledge, particularly in payroll tax and VAT
  • Relevant accounting experience in a service firm
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in German and English
  • Vocational commercial qualification, ideally as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellter)
