- Legal Manager at Logitrade, a leading purchasing center in France, overseeing governance and compliance. Responsible for digital and international growth while managing legal risks.
Responsibilities
- You oversee legal governance (general meetings, delegations of authority and commitments), in close coordination with Finance.
- You handle all contractual matters: drafting and negotiating client, partner and strategic vendor contracts (IT, critical services), general terms and conditions, management of commercial leases and mitigation of financial risks.
- You support operational teams (Commercial, IT, Finance, Operations) in structuring the legal aspects of their projects, risk analysis and strategic decision-making.
- You help promote a business-oriented legal culture through internal training, guides and procedures.
- You are proactive on digital law matters: IT projects, technology contracts, cybersecurity, hosting and integrating regulatory requirements into digital products and services.
- You ensure GDPR compliance as DPO (Data Protection Officer) (registries, processing analyses, oversight of subcontractors).
- You provide support on international tax issues, VAT and customs, in collaboration with Finance teams and external advisors.
- You manage intellectual property matters (trademarks, software, intangible assets) and the group’s insurance programs.
- You also contribute to CSR topics and non-financial documentation (charters, internal policies, integration of sustainability requirements).
Requirements
- Master’s degree (Master 2) in Business Law or Digital/Technology Law, ideally complemented by a DJCE (Diplôme de Juriste Conseil d’Entreprise) or business school training.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in-house.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, prioritize and explain complex legal topics in clear, practical terms.
- Operational legal English.
