About the role

  • Implementation Engineer designing and delivering feature rollouts for LoanPro clients. Collaborating with teams to ensure successful project execution and optimal user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the feature design processes by translating customer specifications into detailed feature design plans.
  • Craft solutions that align with our product capabilities, maintain scalability, and offer optimal user experiences.
  • An essential function of this role requires onsite work to collaborate with other team members.
  • Remote work can be conducted at managers discretion and in accordance with company hybrid policy.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to project managers and implementation specialists, ensuring that technical solutions align with project requirements, LoanPro standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proactively address technical challenges and roadblocks to keep the project on track.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders.
  • Provide regular project status updates, technical reports, and address any technical concerns or queries.
  • Identify potential technical risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Continuously monitor technical risks throughout the feature build process and implement contingency plans when necessary.
  • Lead client training efforts to ensure smooth feature adoption by clients.
  • Responsibilities / Duties / Tasks: Client Experience: Provide a white glove experience and advocate for LoanPro clients by understanding their needs, communicating effectively, and designing solutions that align with their objectives and expectations.
  • Feature Design and Planning: Collaborate with clients to gather detailed requirements for desired features and enhancements. Design technical solutions that align with clients' needs, our product capabilities, and best practices. Create comprehensive feature design plans, including architecture, workflows, and user interfaces.
  • Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and external partners. Provide weekly updates on project status, risks, and progress to project managers.
  • Risk Management : Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation plans. Continuously monitor risks and implement strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and align with the defined feature requirements. Review and approve processes to validate feature functionality, and stability.
  • Change Management: Manage changes to feature designs. Evaluate the impact of changes and communicate them effectively to project managers and
  • or clients, ensuring alignment and agreement.
  • Documentation : Maintain comprehensive feature design documentation to ensure we have a clear understanding of what we are building or what has been built. Maintain change logs to record when changes were made to any feature design being built.
  • Cross Team Coordination : Deliver training sessions for internal teams, implementation specialists, and end-users as required.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement initiatives and conduct lessons learned sessions to enhance feature design and build practices .
  • Team Leadership : Foster a collaborative and positive team environment. Motivate team members, provide guidance, and ensure a cohesive and productive team dynamic.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree (Or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, engineering, or finance.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical project management.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in implementation, technical consulting, or similar capacities.
  • Strong proficiency in software or feature design, architecture, and implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and their role in integrating different software systems.
  • Ability to work with developers and technical teams to design and

  • Proficiency in data import processes and data integration techniques.
  • Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and data migration projects.
  • Familiarity with setting up secure payment gateways and ensuring compliance with payment industry standards (e.g., PCI DSS).
  • Knowledge of encryption and security protocols related to financial transactions.
  • Knowledge of integrating with various software systems, third-party applications, and databases to create cohesive and efficient solutions.
  • Problem-solving mindset, with the capacity to analyze issues, devise solutions, and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Proficiency in technical troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to identify and resolve challenges.
  • Proficiency in creating comprehensive technical documentation, including integration specifications.
  • Experience in managing relationships with third-party vendors and service providers for software integrations and API-related solutions.
  • Proficiency in G Suite, Microsoft Office applications as well as industry-specific analysis software
