About the role

  • Associate Director driving new Cardnet business in East Scotland and North East England for Lloyds Banking Group. Combining field work with client relationship management and strategic development.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for facing off to the SME coverage team to win new Cardnet business for existing LBG franchise customers
  • New business acquisition from external business development activity
  • Use self-motivation and determination to effectively schedule your own time for varied commitments
  • Deliver presentations, portfolio reviews and training to key bank colleagues
  • Conduct meetings with prospective clients from your extensive network
  • Maintain a dynamic and active pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Ensure the customer is at the centre of all activities.

Requirements

  • An outstanding client/ business development background
  • Existing merchant acquiring experience, with specialist knowledge of card acquiring, payments and data solutions
  • Ability to build and maintain partner relationships at all levels
  • An outstanding client development and profit performance record with proven success in negotiating
  • It would also be useful if you had an up to date knowledge of Industry related technical development
  • Knowledge of relevant third-party suppliers (e.g. technology) and partners.
