About the role

  • Technical Recruiter focusing on AI/ML engineering roles for AI document infrastructure company. Manage full recruiting lifecycle and enhance candidate experience at LlamaIndex.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruiting lifecycle across the company: sourcing, outreach, screening, interview coordination, offer negotiation, and close.
  • Build deep understanding of LlamaIndex's products, technical stack, and culture.
  • Source exceptional candidates for specialist roles using a mix of direct outreach and AI-powered sourcing tools.
  • Use AI recruiting tools effectively and responsibly.
  • Manage and optimize relationships with external recruiting agencies.
  • Own and continuously improve the candidate experience from first touchpoint through onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers across engineering, product, and GTM to define role requirements.
  • Track and report on pipeline metrics, identify bottlenecks, and proactively iterate on sourcing strategies.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally with a mix of high-growth startup and larger tech company environments.
  • Proven track record recruiting for niche, highly technical engineering roles (e.g., ML/AI, infrastructure, platform, developer tools).
  • Experience hiring across functions - comfortable switching between an infra engineer search and a marketing or sales hire without missing a beat.
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered sourcing and recruiting tools.
  • Strong ability to assess talent - you know what "good" looks like and can deliver high-precision candidate slates without extensive calibration cycles.
  • Experience managing external agency relationships and vendor processes.
  • Demonstrated grit and longevity: you've stuck around at a high-growth company through the hard parts, not just the honeymoon phase.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem, open-source developer communities, or developer tools space.
