About the role
- Junior Technical Director collaborating on technical strategy for animated content productions. Working closely with production supervisors and IT department for technical problem-solving.
Responsibilities
- Assist and maintain the technical strategy for each production
- Work closely with supervisors of the rigging, scene prep, compositing and rendering departments on specific technical requests
- Help in the setting up of the technical production pipeline
- Assist in researching ways of achieving creative goals
- Identify and prioritize important technical problems and challenges
- Act as a point of contact for production technical issues
- Fix minor problems as needed
- Utilize technical training and skills development
- Learn from the Senior TD and pipeline team
- Take responsibility for the upload and download of partner files
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a technical role or similar
- Technical knowledge of Toon Boom Harmony software
- Knowledge of other production software, Blender, Photoshop and Flow
- Scripting knowledge is a plus
- Problem solving / troubleshooting skills
