Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize the listings of our French titles and continuously analyze the French book market
Support the maintenance of metadata for both new and existing customers
Optimize processes together with existing distribution partners
Acquire new customers and prepare presentations for initial meetings
Monitor and manage existing accounts and ongoing activities
Participate in events and business trips to France
Requirements
A completed degree in business administration or comparable commercial training
Professional experience in B2B sales, preferably in the book industry but not mandatory
Fluent French and German, both written and spoken (C1 level)
Familiarity with sales KPIs and the ability to develop metrics and deliver actionable insights
A high degree of initiative, strong presentation skills, and a confident manner when dealing with partners
A pragmatic, systematic and structured working style combined with the ability to react flexibly and promptly to changes
A quick grasp of complex topics and structures, with an analytical, independent and solution-oriented approach
