About the role

  • Field Account Executive responsible for driving new business sales across Federal Government Accounts for LexisNexis. Collaborating with Account Managers to deliver on common goals, focused on cold calling and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new business sales through high volume of cold calling and follow up in assigned territory
  • Learning, understanding and demonstrating our world class products to prospects
  • Achieving or exceeding consistent monthly, quarterly, annual sales goals and sales KPIs

Requirements

  • Excellent lead generation or inside sales experience
  • Experienced with heavy cold calling volume (50-100 outbound/day)
  • Good listener, quick thinker, with ability to work solo and as a team
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Detail orientated with ability to follow defined processes
  • Solid time management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and CRM
