About the role

  • Event Operations Coordinator for Law Business Research's Asia-Pacific events team, managing venues and event operations for conferences and ceremonies.

Responsibilities

  • Research and secure suitable venues for conferences, dinners, receptions, and awards ceremonies.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including timelines, contracts, travel plans, and checklists.
  • Track and report on event budgets and expenditures.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams including sales, editorial, sponsorship, and production.
  • Lead onsite event coordination and ensure smooth operations.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with C-level stakeholders.
  • Previous experience in event management is a plus.
  • A team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Willing to travel occasionally
