Event Operations Coordinator for Law Business Research's Asia-Pacific events team, managing venues and event operations for conferences and ceremonies.
Responsibilities
Research and secure suitable venues for conferences, dinners, receptions, and awards ceremonies.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
Maintain detailed documentation including timelines, contracts, travel plans, and checklists.
Track and report on event budgets and expenditures.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams including sales, editorial, sponsorship, and production.
Lead onsite event coordination and ensure smooth operations.
Conduct post-event evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement.
Requirements
Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in engaging with C-level stakeholders.
Previous experience in event management is a plus.
A team player with a proactive mindset and attention to detail.
Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
Willing to travel occasionally
