About the role

  • Event Manager responsible for client acquisition and developing compelling event concepts at PIRATEx. Collaborating with teams to execute projects from idea to execution in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • You identify potential clients, establish initial contacts, and win them over for PIRATEx
  • You prepare presentations and present our agency and services professionally and enthusiastically
  • You represent PIRATEx at events and build long-term business relationships
  • You develop innovative, tailor-made event concepts that excite clients and participants
  • You analyze client needs and advise on the optimal implementation of their goals
  • You create compelling proposals including concept, timeline, and budget
  • You manage selected projects from planning through execution
  • You coordinate venue, catering, technical production, event platforms, and other vendors
  • You act as the central point of contact for your clients, ensuring regular alignment and transparent communication

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in event management, at an event agency, or in comparable roles
  • Proven experience in developing event concepts
  • Confident presence in client-facing situations; ideally some first experience in acquisition or sales
  • Experience planning and executing events with budgets of at least €20,000
  • Proficient with project management tools and software (Google Workspace, Gemini, or similar)
  • Experience creating and presenting concepts and proposals
  • Excellent German and very good English skills
