About the role

  • Business Development & Communications Associate at Laterite transforming communication strategies. Collaborating with BDC Manager to enhance outreach and strengthen proposals in a high-trust environment.

Responsibilities

  • Shaping Laterite’s Voice through newsletters, social media content, narratives, and case studies.
  • Strengthening Proposals and Positioning by working with technical leads on submissions.
  • Making Outreach and Events intentional by planning and capturing key moments for communication.
  • Building Systems That Scale to improve templates and workflows without adding friction.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in the development sector, ideally in roles requiring structured thinking, strong writing, and comfort working under deadline pressure.
  • Excellent command of English — written and verbal.
  • Canva proficiency is essential.
  • Practically fluent in AI tools such as ChatGPT (or similar).
  • Comfortable working across digital platforms, including LinkedIn and CMS platforms such as WordPress or Squarespace.
  • Organised and comfortable using tools like Slack, Asana, Notion, and shared document platforms.
