About the role

  • Supply Chain Program Manager overseeing and optimizing material flow across defense manufacturing lines. Coordinating with buyers and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution with a focus on profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and optimize the end-to-end flow of material across defense manufacturing lines
  • Bridge strategic and tactical domains—coordinate with buyers, major subcontractors, production control, and procurement teams
  • Prioritize high-impact tasks—order fulfillment, PR coordination, PO placement, material tracking, and sales planning
  • Lead negotiations and maximize cash profit
  • Monitor material status from procurement through delivery for visibility and alignment with production plans
  • Engage in sales and strategic planning to align material availability with demand
  • Drive consensus among teams in complex scenarios; resolve conflicts and guide outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
  • Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Experience in production control, supply chain, or materials management in the defense or aerospace sectors
  • Familiarity with DFARS, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations, and military contracting requirements
  • Experience with Integrated Master Plans (IMP/IMS), or military program management tools
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data tracking, reporting, and executive presentations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—able to distill complex information into clear, impactful messaging
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence across functional boundaries, especially under time or resource constraints.
