About the role

  • Group Leader of Service Sales responsible for strategic development and implementation of sales objectives. Leading a team and ensuring goal alignment in the Köln office with a hybrid work setup.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for and management of all acquisition activities for our analog and digital services
  • Consistent pursuit of defined commercial sales targets and objectives
  • Development of sales strategies and concepts for service products and their consistent implementation
  • Setting sales targets for Service Sales Managers
  • Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Service Sales group
  • Development of the sales capabilities of the Service Sales Managers
  • Close collaboration with the Service Design, Service Realisation and Customer Dialogue teams
  • Responsibility for the communication (including presentation) and marketing of all service products across multiple channels
  • Development and management of monitoring and reporting systems and derivation of measures for the sale of service products

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Trade Fair Management, Event Management or equivalent vocational training with relevant professional experience
  • Several years of experience leading a team of at least four employees
  • Strong sales skills and enjoyment of selling
  • High motivation for sales and ability to develop innovative solutions
  • Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and organizational ability
  • Strong affinity for promotional, technical and digital products
  • Strong customer focus and quality awareness
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Very good MS Office skills
  • Willingness to work weekends
  • Good written and spoken English
